Round 4 Match Schedule & Ticketing Details
Round 4 of the 2025 Charter Hall Shute Shield Competition this Saturday, April 26, sees the Wicks up against our arch enemy Eastern Suburbs in another edition of the Battle of the Easts and on the Anzac Weekend. This special Anzac Commemoration match has become a tradition on the Sydney rugby calendar and in our local community.
Easts, are obviously the defending premiers and are undefeated so far this season after coming off a big win in the Grand Final replay last weekend over Norths. On the other hand, your Wicks have rebounded strongly from a couple of heart-breaking losses on the bell and on the road, with our return to Coogee being the tonic. Firstly, we had a famous win over the Japan Under 23s last Tuesday and then backed it up with an absolutely thumping 40 points victory over the Two Blues, playing an exhilarating brand of running rugby in front of our true believers.
While Grade are home at Coogee, our Colts are away at Woollahra Oval on the morning shift. Our all-conquering Women’s XV return to Nagle Park, but on Friday and Anzac Day itself, to take on the Hunter Wildfires in their Round 3 clash.
The overall match schedule and timings for Round 4 are as follows:
Tickets are required for all our Grade matches at Coogee Oval on Saturday.
We strongly recommend you purchase tickets online in advance to avoid the queues when the masses arrive from 2.30pm for this blockbuster game. We are not the SCG, with multiple entrances, so either get into the ground a bit earlier or buy a ticket online in advance to make this process a tad easier. Plus, it’s a cheaper to do so.
