WEEK 2: FINALS MATCH AND TICKETING DETAILS

From the Wicks stable - and then there were two! Our 1st Colts and 2nd Grade teams move into the preliminary finals this Saturday and a win will see them through to the Grand Final. So, congratulations to those those teams and all involved on getting through and the rare opportunity of going to the big dance.

Unfortunately, 1st, 3rd and 4th Grade, along with 2nd & 3rd Colts all bowed out for the year after losing their semi-finals last weekend. There were some really heartbreaking defeats in three of those games, with the bounce of the ball or the refs whistle just not going our way - but hey that’s rugby!

This Saturday, 2nd Grade will now face Easts over at Woollahra Oval at 1.20pm. This match will be played prior to the Easts v Sydney University 1st Grade final.

Minor Premiers 1st Colts will play Warringah at Coogee Oval on Saturday at 12.45am and will be the main match on the hallowed turf.

There will also be two lower grade Colts semis at Coogee involving Warringah and Manly on prior - commencing at 10.00am.

A reminder that the Sydney Rugby Union (SRU) and not the host clubs is responsible for selling tickets and the approach for all finals series games.

Tickets will also be available at the main entrance gates of the grounds on the day, but please note that they are priced more expensively to do so - so get them online before you go to save a few dollars and avoid any queues.

Unfortunately, our girls working at the gate were getting abused by some patrons last week, which was very disappointing and not on. Repeating, it’s not a Randwick Rugby home game we are just hosting the games at Coogee and providing the troops to run it on behalf of the Sydney Rugby Union and following their instructions.

Also, a reminder that Randwick Rugby 2026 Season Tickets - both Sayle Season & Out of Towners versions are no longer valid for entry finals matches to Coogee Oval.

Coogee Oval - 1st Colts v Warringah

Our red hot 1st Colts will play at Coogee Oval at 12.45pm this Saturday, August 29th against Warringah - so teams 1 v 2 on the ladder, which will be a cracking game.

We are also hosting the 2nd & 3rd Colts finals both between Warringah and Manly.

So entry gates will open at 9.30am.
