In yet another proud club milestone last Saturday, we also saluted Ollie Smyth who played his 100th Grade game for our club in 3rd Grade against @warringahrats at Coogee Oval.
Hailing from Coffs Harbour, Ollie made the move down the coast to join us in Colts in 2019, alongside his good mate Dec Leaney.
After making the step up into Grade in 2021, Ollie quickly established himself as a mainstay of the legendary 3rd Grade side. In that time, he has been part of a remarkable run of three consecutive Grand Final victories from 2022-2024. His efforts were recognised in 2023 when he was named 3rd Grade’s Best Forward in the premiership team.
One of the great down-to-earth blokes around the club, Smythy has always given his best every time he has pulled on the myrtle green jersey and the boys jsut loved playing with him.
Congrats Ollie on your achievement and thank you for your loyalty to our club.
