Role Description
Hours: Fulltime - 2 Year Contract - covering the 2026 & 2027 Rugby Seasons.
Randwick Rugby is one of the most iconic clubs and brands in both Australian and World Rugby. The club has had a phenomenal period of success winning the 1st Grade Premiership in 2023, plus Premierships in both 1st & 2nd Colts and the Colts Club Championship in the Sydney Rugby Union Competition in 2025.
The Director of Rugby at Randwick DRUFC is a fulltime/contract role and is responsible for the overall recruitment, development, management, athletic performance and pastoral care of players and coaches at the Club. The role will cover the preparation for and execution of the 2026 and 2027 rugby seasons.
Aside from elite coaching support, the role’s primary focus is to develop the plan for the club’s rugby program and ensure there is a co-ordinated approach throughout all levels of the club in executing it. The overall administration of our Colts program and oversight of our key pathway activities, including women's and junior rugby, are also important responsibilities of the position.
This role reports directly to the General Manager and will work in partnership with our fulltime First Grade Coach. The key role outcomes are as follows:

Position Term:
This is a Fulltime role, on a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract to cover the 2026 & 2027 Rugby seasons. We will require the successful applicant to commence the role prior to the 2026 preseason, which will commence in November 2025.
Flexible working hours required during the rugby season to attend weekend matches, evening training sessions, events and meetings. An attractive salary package will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
