Hadley Jackson has elected not to seek reappointment as Randwick’s First Grade Coach for the 2020 season

The Randwick District Rugby Union Football Club today advises that Hadley Jackson has elected not to seek reappointment as Randwick’s First Grade Coach for the 2020 season. The board both accepts and respects the reasons for his decision.

Hadley was a major contributor to our First Grade Colts premiership success in 2018, in the development of those talented players going up to grade and with the First Grade squad this year culminating in the historic Pumas match. We wish Hadley every success in the future and thank him for all his efforts at Randwick Rugby over the past two seasons and in his tenure prior.

Our Club Coach Ben McCormack has been offered and will assume the First Grade Coach role in 2020, as soon as contractual details are finalised. As Ben was already our Assistant First Grade Coach, this will ensure a seamless transition for the start of our preseason and ongoing planning. Ben is respected by our First Grade squad and has also been coaching at NRC level this season with the NSW Country Eagles.

The Club will now look to recruit an experienced Club Coach to drive coaching and player development across both grade and colts, allowing Ben to focus on the First-Grade role. Ben will continue as Club Coach in the interim until this appointment is made.

Also, we welcome Jacinta Mattingly as our new High Performance Manager and she will spearhead our club wide preseason program with Ben and our other coaching staff.
