Vale Bruce Malouf - Wallaby & Galloping Green

Sincere condolences from all at Randwick Rugby are extended to the family and friends of former Wallaby Bruce Malouf.

It is with great sadness that Randwick DRFUC today advises of the passing of Bruce Malouf.

Bruce died peacefully this morning at the age of 63 after a long battle with illness.

Bruce was a tough, hardworking and mobile hooker who played 82 Grade Games for Randwick from 1977 to 1983.

In that time he played 75 First Grade Games and was a member of four Shute Shield winning sides (1978, 79, 81 & 82).

Bruce also represented NSW in eight matches between 1980 and 81 and in 1982 was selected for Australia in his only test against New Zealand .

Off the field Bruce was a ‘larger than life character’ who lived and enjoyed his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed.

On behalf of everyone at Randwick Rugby our thoughts and prayers are with the Malouf family and his friends at this difficult time.

Rest in Peace Bruce.

Up the Wicks!
