Round 8 of the 2025 Charter Hall Shute Shield Competition this Saturday, May 24th sees Grade once again home at Coogee Oval v our beachside rival Manly.
In First Grade, Manly are coming off a close loss to Eastwood, while we returned to the winner’s circle after comfortably accounting for Souths. The Wicks are still unbeaten at home so far this season and will be looking to continue our golden run at Coogee again on Saturday and will be playing for the Bergelin Sayle Cup, proudly donated by RCVRI - who sponsors both clubs.
In many of the lower grade matches they will be top of the table clashes, so a really competitive day of footy is assured.
Plus, we will also have Women’s XV team playing Manly on Saturday, with the boys at Coogee Oval. Our Colts will head north to Manly Oval, starting in the morning.
Saturday is also our Coogee Surf Club Day, who is our ‘Partner in Sport’ and the relationship between our two local iconic clubs has been going strongly for over a century. We welcome all their members and volunteers and thank them for their enormous efforts keeping our local community and the swimming public safe.

Tickets are required for all grade matches being played on Coogee Oval on Saturday. Gates Open at Coogee Oval this Saturday at 9.00am.
